Saxophone Orchestra
Who we are
Aberdeenshire Saxophone Orchestra is the only saxophone orchestra in Scotland covering the full instrumental range from bass to sopranino saxophones.
We make the more unusual sizes of these saxophones available on loan to our members.

What we do
Under the direction of our Musical Directors, Cat and Mike, the orchestra explores a diverse repertoire of music from classical arrangements to bespoke compositions. For those inclined, there is the chance to also experience conducting, arranging and composing for a large ensemble.
New players always welcome!
Where we rehearse
We rehearse one Sunday a month in Inverurie from 10am - 4pm. Rehearsal schedule and venue here. We charge a membership fee to adult players, but please come along and try before you buy! Children and those in full-time education participate free.
Our latest rehearsal saw our retiring Musical Director, Richard Ingham, being replaced by not one, but two MD's, Cat and Mike.
We also linked up with The Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra by Zoom.
